Hitman Roulette is a challenging game mode to learn, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the number of guides available. Whether you're trying it out for the first time or are a seasoned player looking to master every map, this page aims to provide all the essential resources to help you improve at roulette.
¶ Getting Started
If you haven't played roulette before and are looking for an introduction to the game mode, The_Buff_Guy’s What Is HITMAN Roulette? YouTube series is a great place to start. The first episode explains the core mechanics and ideas behind roulette, while the rest of the series covers individual maps, including basic isolations, disguises, and kill methods, before demonstrating example spins. Created in 2022, Buff’s playlist is slightly outdated by now, but still serves as a popular and informative starting point.
Most of the community’s roulette knowledge is available across more than a thousand bite-sized videos known as Roulette Resources, maintained by Moo, ThatObserver, and lukedotpng. There are three main ways to look up specific information about isolations, kill methods, or other techniques:
- The Roulette Resources YouTube channel, where all videos are searchable and organized into map-specific playlists.
- Milanote and Luketown, which display map-specific information on numerous visual boards and flashcards.
There are many ways to practice roulette, whether it's replaying a past tournament spin, teaming up with a friend, or playing solo. For your first spin, it’s recommended to have Roulette Resources open alongside one of the following spin generators:

¶ Advanced Training
For in-depth written guides, the Roulette Strats series by TheTimeCube is widely considered the most comprehensive text resource for roulette. It's ideal for players who already have a good grasp of certain maps and want to fill remaining gaps with detailed explanations. The full guide spans over 100 pages and is divided into four parts: one for each season (Season 1, Season 2, Season 3), along with a separate document focused on the Maelstrom's routes in Mumbai.
In addition to these broad guides, community members have also created a variety of map-specific resources, such as overviews and compilations of all spins run in a given tournament.
