In Roulette Rivals tournaments using the Double Elimination format, as well as in the Roulette Rivals World Championship (RRWC), a seeding system is used to create a fair and balanced experience for players of all skill levels. This page explains how seeding works and how the rankings are calculated.
Double Elimination tournaments feature partial seeding with 16 seeds. These players are divided into four pots of four, and players from the same pot cannot meet until the WB Semi-Finals. If the bracket includes byes, the highest-seeded players are placed directly into WB Round 2, while the remaining Round 1 matches are created between unseeded players whenever possible.
Tournaments using the Swiss format do not use seeding, because players are paired each round based on their current results, naturally matching opponents of similar performance.
The Roulette Rivals World Championship (RRWC) uses seeded random groups, with each group containing one player from each seeding pot. The top eight ranked players form the first seeds, the next eight the second seeds, and so on. With each pot containing eight players who are drawn into the eight groups, RRWCs typically have a signup limit of 64 players.

Player seeding for these tournaments is determined using the following criteria, in order:
Preliminary seeding tables typically resolve ties using only the first two criteria; any remaining ties are finalized manually after signups close.
