The time has come for the Roulette Rivals World Championship! Whether you’re a veteran or a first-time player, this page has all the essential information about the 2025 edition. Be sure to also check out the What’s New page for the most important changes since Roulette Rivals 17.
Hitman Roulette (or simply Roulette) is a community game mode in the Hitman series, where unique challenges (known as roulette spins) can be generated using various randomizers such as https://roulette.hitmaps.com/. Each target in a given mission is assigned a different kill method (ranging from firearms to accidents) and a disguise available on the map (or Agent 47’s own suit). While Roulette can be played in many ways, the usual goal is to complete a spin with a 5-star Silent Assassin rating as quickly as possible. You can read more about the basics of Roulette here, or visit the Roulette Guides page for learning material.
Roulette Rivals turns Hitman Roulette into a competition. Each tournament consists of live head-to-head matches, featuring multiple spins on different maps. Players receive spin information from a designated admin and begin playing at the same time. Whoever completes the mission with a 5-star Silent Assassin rating first, in real time, wins the map.
The Roulette Rivals World Championship (RRWC) is a special annual edition of Roulette Rivals, held every October and November. The format is the same at its core, but RRWC is a larger event with two stages, longer matches, and bigger prizes, including a physical trophy for the world champion.
Like all our roulette tournaments, the Roulette Rivals World Championship is a cross-platform competition, open to players on all platforms. The tournament runs for 7.5 weeks and is divided into two stages:
1.) Group Stage (Oct 3rd to 26th): Round-robin style tournament with up to 64 participants.
2.) Knockout Stage (Oct 27th to Nov 23rd): Double-elimination bracket with 32 participants.
Unlike regular Roulette Rivals, where brackets are drawn purely at random, the RRWC features seeded random groups. Each group contains one player from each seeding pot (e.g., “first seeds,” “second seeds,” and so on). A player’s seed is determined by the seeding points they earned in the two most recent Roulette Rivals tournaments.
Note that the signup limit for RRWC 2025 is 64 players, determined by signup date, not seeding. In other words, the first 64 signups for the tournament will be guaranteed to participate, regardless of their seeding. In case of extraordinary interest, signups will also be accepted in the first 48 hours from the original announcement.
Players earn a seeding point for each Swiss Stage match won in RR16 and RR17, plus a set amount of points based on their Knockout Stage placement:
| Winner | Runner-up | Third place | Fourth place | Quarter-finals | Round of 16 |
| 7 points | 5 points | 4 points | 3 points | 2 points | 1 point |
The seeding of players for RRWC 2025 is determined in the following order:
The full seeding table for RRWC 2025 can be found here. Note that seeding is not final until after signups close on Oct 2nd, and some ties will only be broken if necessary for the group draw.
